Ifill to graduates: ‘Care about something’

Around 1,700 graduates and their families gathered on Hearn Plaza under cloudy skies for the 2013 Commencement Ceremony. In her speech, Gwen Ifill, managing editor and moderator of “Washington Week” and senior correspondent for the “PBS NewsHour,” urged graduates to find a cause that they believe in and use what they have learned to “affect the lives of those around you.” More »

Fulbright scholarships

From researching regenerative medicine in Sweden to teaching in Vietnam, 11 Wake Forest students and recent graduates have been awarded Fulbright scholarships to go abroad during the 2013-2014 academic year.

New Wake Forest Fellows for the 2013-14 academic year

As most seniors prepare for life after Wake Forest, a small group of talented students have decided to start their careers here, at “Mother, So Dear.” After commencement, 15 recent graduates will stay at Wake Forest for at least another year.
